I have worked in the child welfare system for three years in various capacities and in that work became deeply passionate about helping to build the capacities of children and families to understand and heal from Trauma. I completed the Trauma Specialization as well as the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training Project at Western Michigan University through the course of my graduate degree. My heartfelt desire is to partner this knowledge with the expertise that you bring into the room as we work together to reach your goals.

Life is filled with seasons that we often don’t see coming. Some are beautiful and some can make you feel like you have lost track of which way is up and every day can feel like a battle. Even in the toughest and darkest of seasons, the love and grace of Jesus is not out of reach for any of us! I know this because I have experienced the transformative and healing power of Jesus first hand, and I believe that it is available to you as well!
No matter where you are in that journey, my desire as a clinician is to come alongside you, your child, or your family as you navigate the big and small challenges on your journey towards healing, wholeness, and the deep abiding peace that Jesus offers through His unfailing love and grace. I believe that Jesus is the ultimate source of healing and that as a Christian Counselor it is my privilege to partner with the Holy Spirit to be an instrument in the hands of the Lord and to walk alongside you through the work that God has already begun!
My goal is to create a space for you or your child to feel comfortable being your most authentic self and experiencing the freedom that comes with the sometimes extremely challenging work of growth and healing. Whether you are a new mama who just needs a place to sit with a cup of coffee and feel seen in the journey through postpartum adjustment, a foster parent desperate for a place that is safe to process the seemingly endless demands of selflessly loving children who have experienced trauma, a parent who longs to help their child integrate the trauma’s they have lived through, or seeking to heal from trauma in your own life, my door is open and it is my sincere honor to be able to come alongside you as you take this courageous step towards tangible, positive change.
