Kelsey Adriance is a counselor-in-training and current intern at Desert Streams Christian Counseling. She is nearing the end of her graduate education pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a focus of marriage, couple, and family counseling at Western Michigan University. Kelsey chose to intern with Desert Streams as she believes that integrating faith and spirituality into the counseling experience is an important part of supporting a client’s holistic wellness. She is humbled that clients and families allow her to enter their story at times of stress and crisis to help them access their own strengths and learn new skills to find restoration, hope, and healing. Kelsey is also a board-certified music therapist and has spent the last 7 years working in hospice care, using music to help individuals with terminal diagnoses and their families navigate the end-of-life journey. Kelsey is excited to be a part of the Desert Streams Christian Counseling team for the summer, learning and growing under the guidance and leadership of the compassionate, skilled team of therapists on staff here at Desert Streams.
