Personal statement:

My amazing, gracious wife, Jen, and I have been together since 1998 and married since the new millennium, 2000. We have raised three great children and my half-sibling, all of whom have grown into wonderful adults. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and going on Jeep rides. I also enjoy a wide variety of sports and hobbies.

God has given me a great desire to walk with struggling families, marriages, single-parent homes, women, men, and children. I’m passionate about helping teens find identity and freedom from strongholds that hinder God’s promises in their lives. My counseling is shaped by my lived experience, intertwined with the Holy Spirit and education. It is my desire to honor your time and help you attain growth, no matter the challenges you face. We are not meant to endure through this life alone. Weathering the storms of adversity is never easy. Yet, beauty can be found in the ashes and can empower each person. These new transformations in life are like diamonds that are made under pressure.

The type of counseling environment I provide is warm and confidential. I strive to create a space that mirrors the retribution-free experience that God provides to each of us. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to partner with you during difficult times in your life and in whatever circumstances you are encountering. The intensity of formerly being a home-based therapist, and my experience as an assertive community treatment team therapist, have helped prepare me to tackle even the most difficult issues. It takes courage to reach out for therapy.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.’”
